The Lonely shores

At the end of the pathless woods Lie the unfrequented shores which silently bear the pain, of the winds and the waves settling their scores However ferocious, the waves carry a tender heart They bring the distant waters to the shores and return for their regular chores. The impertinence of waves comes with a touch of love Every time they touch the shores, they leave a part behind and carry a part from the shore along. I want to always be here Watching this intimate game I find pleasure in the boisterous waves and tranquility on the silent shore Its not that I love the humans less, But I love the nature more.

Bubbles of happiness

Every afternoon, beneath the banyan tree; Play children, happy and carefree. Skipping stones, collecting pebbles Eating ice creams and fighting for roubles. Bigger and bigger, bubble they blow When it bursts, they cheer and glow. Few lucky bubbles escape and float. unless the bubbles burst the children cannot gloat. They chase the bubbles, trying to strike success and failure they enjoy alike. Laughter erupts when some bubbles perish, Bubbles of happiness, the children cherish

The Desert Blues

(Based on an anonymous transcript) As I pass through this mystic land all I see is but the golden sand. Wind, the master of desert; Plays the song The dunes are but neigh to dance along. The wind blows moving the grains to and fro; giving them the life they much desire, a reason to exist, compete, feel and persprire. Sometimes a mighty storm uproots the very foundation of the dune. Sometimes a gentle breeze shapes the features and puts it back to tune. The dunes change form continuously yet their essence survives One wind leads them to perdition and another revives. Eons have passed Yet the winds continue their game The dunes eagerly await for their elixir to come and proclaim.

Tongue Twisters

Of late, I have been fascinated with tongue twisters. They are quite a challenge, at times they are stress busters or at times they may add the stress load. I have done my bit of look out and this is wat I found: Wikipedia states: "A tongue-twister is a phrase that is designed to be difficult to articulate properly. Tongue-twisters may rely on similar but distinct phonemes (e.g., s [s] and sh [ʃ]), unfamiliar constructs in loanwords , or other features of a language. The hardest tongue-twister in the English language (according to Guinness World Records ) is supposedly The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick. William Poundstone claims that the hardest English tongue twister is "The seething sea ceaseth and thus the seething sea sufficeth us." [1] " I found these interesting, Betty Botter had some butter, "But," she said, "this butter's bitter. If I bake this bitter butter, It would make my batter bitter. But a bit of bet...
